Will it work at a venue with spotty WiFi?+
PartyLab uploads over the guest's own mobile data connection, not venue WiFi. As long as guests have phone signal (4G/5G), uploads work fine — and most modern phones will queue uploads if signal drops briefly.
How many photos can guests upload?+
The Event plan ($19, one-time) allows unlimited uploads and videos up to 500 MB each. For a typical wedding with 100–200 guests you'll collect hundreds to thousands of photos — all in one gallery.
Do guests need to download an app?+
No. Guests just scan the QR code with their camera app and the upload page opens in their browser. Works on any iPhone or Android phone without any download.
Can I use it at the ceremony, cocktail hour, AND reception?+
Yes — it's one gallery for the whole day. You can set the upload window to stay open for several days so guests at the after-party (or those who forgot to upload on the night) can still contribute.
What's the difference between the Free and Event plan?+
The Free plan collects up to 30 photos — useful for a small engagement party. For a full wedding you'll want the Event plan ($19 one-time): unlimited photos, 6-month upload window, 12-month gallery access, ZIP download, guest email list, and slideshow.
Can we play the live gallery on a screen at the venue?+
Yes. Open the slideshow link on a laptop and connect it to your venue's screen or projector. It automatically updates as guests upload — no refresh needed.
How long do photos stay in the gallery?+
Event plan galleries stay live for 12 months — more than enough time to download everything and share the link with guests who couldn't attend.
Can guests add a message with their photo?+
Yes. The optional caption field lets guests write a personal message — just like a physical guestbook, but embedded alongside their photo and exportable.
